At Summerhill kids and staff stay at school during half terms, this is because we have lots of international students for whom it’s impossible to travel home for short periods of time. We get a few days to rest and recharge – these are known as ‘Slobbing Days’. On Slobbing days there are no lessons, we go to bed later and sleep in and just generally chill out!

Summer Half Term is a bit different in that we invite family, friends and past pupils to join us. We have a weekend of parties, stalls, exhibitions and an auction where people can buy cool stuff that kids and staff have made over the year.
